Contemporary Accounting Research appears in the Financial Times’ Top 50 journals and is the primary research journal of the Canadian Academic Accounting Association.

The journal publishes leading edge research that contributes to the collective understanding of accounting’s role in organisations, markets, or society.

Ingrid’s appointment to the role from May 2020 recognises her scholarship within the field of interdisciplinary accounting and also her journal editorial experience. Ingrid is currently Associate Editor of the Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal and Financial Accountability and Management, and was previously an Associate Editor of the European Accounting Review (EAR).

Ingrid is delighted to take up this new role and looks forward to working with authors to maintain the high quality of scholarship that is currently published in Contemporary Accounting Research.
